I understand that this may not be truly 'on topic'. I guess I'm just writing this to 1) see what the rest of you think and 2) warn y'all to be careful. I'm now nervously waiting for any repercussions. So I got some help and attached a clarification letter stating that I really went to 'travel forums where one could gamble at the destinations' or something like that. I was told I had to sign or else they would just keep hounding me. ![]() To me, an 'online gambling forum' would be part of a site like and I NEVER went to such a site (at work OR at home). ![]() I initially refused to sign because I didn't want my signature attached to a piece of paper admitting to something I don't feel I did. Only issue: they generalized forums such as this as 'online gambling forums'. I then had to sign the letter indicating not only that I understood the policy, but admitting I committed the listed sins. ![]() The letter then reminded me of the policy regarding 'personal use of computers'. The other day I got a letter that listed my offenses, allegedly based on what I told them in an interview. You know how most people can surf the 'net at work and not get caught? Well, I'm not one of those people. Okay, bear with me, this MAY be off topic but I'm hoping it hangs around a little.
